AMP Sound Systems has teamed up with MEMO Live to offer Live Recording Services. With most of the equipment already in place when you book us to do your live sound, a recording can be made of one of your gigs at a very reasonable price. It will be much cheaper than going into a studio, but the audio quality will be of the same standard - and you also get the added benefit of the atmosphere at the gig on your CD! Perfect for Demo's if you don't have the budget to go into a studio.
Below is a brief overview of how we will record your gig:

We record 16 simultaneous, high quality tracks into ProTools 8.
A feed it taken from AMP Sound Systems front of house mixer so each instrument is mic'ed up individually just like in the studio.
Vocals are routed through our Focusrite preamps.
Each track is then recorded separately into ProTools giving us the capability to mix and master the tracks back in the studio.
This method ensures proper levels of each instrument, making for a great sounding CD.

We mix all the tracks recorded using ProTools and multiple plug-in software such as the Waves Diamond bundle.
We add any effects necessary to any of the tracks (such as EQ, compression, reverb or delay).
If requested or necessary it is also possible to overdub vocals, guitars, drums or anything you want into the mix after the show.
If the band wants anything altered, such as levels, we will go back and change them.
The sound is completely up to you! |
| Finishing touches: |
We master all tracks by taking the final stereo mix and putting it in the final album-ready form.
Fades, EQ, final compression, limiting, accurate volume levels of each song, and other small details are applied to your final mix. |
